A fanlisting is a group of people who like something; ie a group of people who like Wolves. All a fanlisting is is a list of fans to do with that particular person, item, or object; it joins together people with similar intrests.

Zettai Kareshi, or Absolute Boyfriend, is the story of Riiko. Rejected by guys one too many times, and after her oath to no longer buy offline, Riiko ends up buying a Lover Figure, Unit 001, which she names Night. Night wakes up and says he is her boyfriend, and chaos ensues from there, coupled with the complications of Riiko's best friend Soushi who lives next door. It's a love-triangle story, that focuses on a realistic issue for girls, and is one of my favourite series.

Riiko Izawa is the heroine of the series. She orders Night online since she is rejected by countless prospective boyfriends, though she only later learns the reason why this happens so much to her. She felt alone and thought she was unloved, which prompted her to order Night. Soushi, her childhood friend who is also her next door neighbour, secretly harboured feelings for her though, and as things get more complicated with Night they get more complicated with Soushi, too. To sum her up, Riiko is a realistic, bouncy girl who tends to fall in love too much, and has a very kind heart when it comes down to it.

I have a very long list of why I love Riiko, so please bare with me throughout this.

For Watase's series, I have a set of three favourite lead female characters: whom, though I would probably order them from time to time, I all love for very different reasons. One is Shuro from AnC, another is Alice from Alice 19th, and another is the very girl this site is devoted to: Riiko Izawa.

There's something about Riiko that I've always been drawn to, right from page one. I think it's the fact she's so... real. She's really believable. She's like the standard girl on the street for her age. I can see her existing... and her problems are also very real, too. Whilst the story is sci-fi, to a degree, Riiko never looses that sense of realism. She enjoys the simple things - well, the best things in life are free - and isn't afraid to be who she really is. Which I suppose is different from a lot of heroines I do love and care for a lot; they tend to have a problem to overcome about their self and their courage or strength, I suppose, in certain situations. Not Riiko. she's fairly secure of herself. She doesn't really care what people think of her, such as when she pummels Soushi in the face. Such as when she goes round as the gag character and is randomly holding a bra, for example. I just really like her. She's such a believable person, good natured, and is the kind of character you can't really dislike much if not at all.

She doesn't really excel in anything, accademically or in life, either. Which also makes her all the more realistic. She's a standard, average girl, as I've said before. She excels in the fact she has courage when pressed, and the ability to just be herself when its called for. Though Riiko does kind of come to accept herself, to see that she is loved, so that's what she overcomes. Buuut, it's not a really specific change-my-personality! goal. It's a feeling a lot of people feel in this super fast busy world.

I also really love her hair. There are a few hairstyles Watase draws her with that just made me fall over from adorableness; I think one was when she was working in the Vietnamise restuarant with Soushi. There's also fact that some of the panels she draws Riiko in are so darn cute. I just want to give her a hug. She looks so adorable! Kyah.

Normally a character that has such an indecision over which guy she likes would annoy me, but not Riiko. She's very open, when pushed, about the fact she likes both of them. She still is nice to the other one she rejects, which is a key point that often crumples people with the 'just friends' aspect. That doesn't bother Riiko. Not at all.

Really, I love this girl, and I happy that I have the opprtunity to run a fanlisting for her.

It took me a while to think of a name, though I eventually settled with Sealed With A Kiss. I didn't really want an adjective to describe her, as I'd probably have ended up with 'normal' which doesn't sound too interesting, haha. But I like this one. It mostly relates to how, when Riiko started up Night, she had to kiss him to register her as his lover. So, she sealed the contract with a kiss, so to speak. And also to a point that at the end, too, when Soushi goes for a while, he kisses her to say goodbye, that they'll meet again sometime.

The layout was made by me, Espo, in Paint Shop Pro. Codes 8-11 in 50x50/75x50 are also manga images coloured by me. Some images found with the help of Marie. Thank you!
